1

Do you accept insurance?

Woodford Psychiatry is not accepting Medicaid, Medicare, or most private insurances at this time. With a focus on self-pay, we seek to provide the best care that you need without the limitations that often accompany insurance models within behavioral healthcare.
2

Is there anything I need to do before my first visit?

Nope! Just click one of the links labeled "Get Started" or "Schedule an Appointment" and you will register as a new client and schedule your first virtual counseling appointment.
3

What should I expect on my first visit?

Initial visits usually last one hour. Dr. Ingram will spend the majority of the time asking you questions about the reasons you are seeking treatment and a bit about your history. At the end of the visit, Dr. Ingram will develop a treatment plan that is tailored to you and your goals.
4

How often will I need to be seen?

That depends! Most medication checks require once-monthly visits, although if you are having problems or side effects you will likely need to be seen sooner. Once you are on a stable dose of a medication that is effective, virtual counseling sessions are often scheduled every 3 months.
5

Who should I call in case of an emergency?

In the event of a life-threatening emergency, always call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency department. If you are a patient of Woodford Psychiatry, please scroll down to review our on-call policy.
